Pawan was abandoned as a child and grows up in a children's home. He escapes from there and comes to Chennai where he becomes a goon who would do anything for money.

A mysterious gang chases Sanam Shetty and in order to escape from the gang she takes refuge in Pawan's place. Pawan wants to attain her and to avoid the situation Sanam says that her father is unwell and she has to meet him immediately. Concerned about this, Pawan sends her home with the condition that she should come back to him after her father gets well.

Seeing this change of attitude, Sanam starts loving him. Meanwhile Aruldoss frames Pawan for a murder. The station inspector (Naren) comes to know that Pawan is not responsible for the crime. At the same time, Sanam comes to the station with a lawyer to get a bail warrant for Pawan. While releasing him, Naren advises him to live with his family.

Pawan starts searching for his parents with the help of Sanam. Whether he is able to find them or not is the rest of the story.

Pawan who has proved himself in small roles previously has performed well. Sanam Shetty, Aruldoss and Naren had done their parts well. 'Naan Kadavul' fame Rajendran fits well in the comical role.

The fact that a child’s future becomes questionable due to the mistakes made by their parents is beautifully narrated by director Raja Ganesan. Songs are catchy in Ravi Ragav's music and U.K.Senthilkumar's camera work is a big support to the movie.
