Rajesh is a head constable who wants to put his son Dinesh in a higher posting than him but Dinesh does not listen to him. He often happens to end up in a quarrel with Nithin Sathya, son of an Assistant Commissioner who lives in the same colony. This brings difference of opinion between their fathers as well. Once an issue develops to big proportions and the AC wants to take revenge on Rajesh.

In this situation, Commissioner Naren plans to stop the atrocities of gangster Rajendran and co. AC  Muthuraman convinces him that encounter is the only solution and gets his permission to execute the same and he appoints Rajesh in the encounter team. Then only Rajesh comes to know that Rajendran is acting under the command of the AC.

Rowdy Rajendran kills Rajesh and escapes from the encounter scene. Though Dinesh does not feel for his father's demise, Naren appoints him in his father's posting to honor Rajesh. After that he understands the difficulties of the job and wants to do well but regular torture from the AC annoys him. With Naren's encouragement he tries to find out the truth behind his father’s demise.

Dinesh gets a chance to act as a cop in his third film itself and he has fulfilled the expectation of the viewers. He fits well in the given character. Iyswarya Rajesh has very less chance to act but speaks through her looks.

The other cast like Nithin Sathya, Bala have justified their given parts and a special appreciation should be given to 'Naan Kadavul' fame Rajendran. Debutant Director Caarthick Raju has maintained the story in an even pace. Yuvan scores in the BGM.
