Vijay Sethupathi As A Lady Or Transgender In Next?

Last week saw the announcement that Vijay Sethupathi would be teaming up with acclaimed director Thiagarajan Kumararaja of Aaranya Kaandam for an upcoming film with Samantha as the female lead, director Mysskin in a pivotal role and National Award winner P. C. Sreeram as the cinematographer. The film had been announced to kick-off production on November 4 and it seems filming is well underway now. Although Yuvan Shankar Raja's name has popped up for the musical score in the film, composer Anirudh Ravichander is also in the fray as per reports.

Meanwhile, images of Vijay Sethupathi draped in a saree have been doing the rounds from today morning across all social media platforms. It is unknown at this stage as to what role the acclaimed actor is playing in the film. Whether the Rekka star is playing a lady or as a transgender or is just a disguise for a scene in the film, only time will tell. We will just wait for an official word on the actor's role in the film.

It must be noted that Sivakarthikeyan was seen in a lady getup in his recent Remo, which has turned out to be a hit at the box office.
