So, what's the status of Vijay's 'Bairavaa'?

With the title and first look launched for 'Ilayathalapathy' Vijay's upcoming film Bairavaa last week, the interest among fans is soaring upwards. Having said that, the film is in the midst of filming in Rajahmundry at present. The makers will be wrapping up important portions in this schedule there till September 28 after which the team will come back to Chennai.

Bairavaa, which began production under the working titles Vijay 60 or Thalapathy 60 is nearing its final stages of production. Filming will wrap up once the team heads for Europe to shoot a song after they come to Chennai.

As of now, it is being said, Bairavaa will have 5 songs of which 3 have reportedly been shot already. The film will have a 3 month long post-production process which will allow the makers to give their best output overall.

Bairavaa is gearing towards a Pongal 2017 release.
