Now that the release date of the film is confirmed, Kalaipuli S. Thanu, the producer of Kabali stated the cost of making the film in a recent interview.
Thanu has now revealed that Kabali was made with a budget of Rs. 110 crores. If that isn't mind blowing, apparently Rs. 1.4 crores were spent on the costumes alone. It looks like the producer has spared no charge to make the film as grand as possible. The makers are eyeing a box office collection of Rs. 200 crores.
Kabali will make its way to the screens worldwide on 22 July.
