We had reported earlier that there are unconfirmed reports that Atlee, who gave a blockbuster with Vijay in the form of Theri, might soon direct Ajith in a flick, which would be Thala 58 considering his current commitments.
Further sources now state that the Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan is going to produce, thereby adding traction to this news. Incidentally, 2 decades ago, Big B floated his own production banner in the name of Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Ltd (ABCL) and he produced a few films. The only Tamil film he produced was Ullasam which had Ajith and Vikram in the lead roles. Made with a heavy budget, the film failed to create magic at the box office and after a number of films that he bankrolled didn't do well, he brought the shutters down. The star even had to commit himself to films and advertisements to clear the debts caused by these losses.
It is said that the actor has decided to revive the production company and venture once again into the Tamil cinema industry. If the news is true then undoubtedly he has chosen the best director and actor to achieve sure shot success.
