Simbu’s much anticipated ‘Vaalu’ has finally reached the screens and the fast paced flick has garnered the right response from the audience.
The fun-filled movie which had to wait for three long years to entertain the audience, has hit the right chord and the film has no difficulties in entertaining the ardent fans despite the time delay.
Simbu plays the role of an urban youngster who is in search of a job. He happens to find an iphone on the road and tries to hand it over to the person who had lost it. Meanwhile, he meets Hansika on the way and falls head over heels in love at first sight. Unfortunately, Hansika meets with an accident
and after a series of interesting twists Simbu comes to know that the iphone actually belongs to Hansika.
Simbu gets excited and expresses his love to her but the pretty woman denies falling in love with him. Moreover, she tells him that she will be getting married to her relative who is a gangster.
Simbu earns the wrath of the baddie by his behavior and this finally affects the relationship between him and Hansika.
The rest of the story reveals whether Simbu manages to overcome all the difficulties and in his personal and love life.
The happening duo of Simbu and Santhanam is back. Simbu steals the show with his realistic performance. The charming hero has nailed it with some exuberant acting and stuns the audience with his effortless moves in songs and action sequences.
Simbu has made a smashing comeback and the star’s arrival is being celebrated by his ardent fans.
Hansika plays Simbu’s love interest and the gorgeous woman impresses the audience with her bubbly looks and cute expressions.
Santhanam’s witty one- liners are hilarious. The star’s on-screen chemistry with Simbu is fantastic and the duo has once again proved to be a successful combo.
Jai shares screen space with Simbu in a cameo and his role is surprising.
Director Vijay Chander has done an impressive job by handling a simple plot with expertise. ‘Vaalu’ is Vijay’s debut film and the filmmaker can be lauded for his earnest attempt to make a film with a realistic approach.
Thaman’s music is fresh and energetic. The picturization of the songs are interesting and the BGM syncs well with the pace of the story. Shakthi’s cinematography adds strength to the movie.
On the whole, ‘Vaalu’ has all the aspects to be a blockbuster hit and Simbu- Hansika’s adorable screen presence makes it a must watch this weekend.
