Vishal, on August 17 of 2017, gave an interview to a leading magazine in which he has apparently spoken against the Producers Council in a way that disrupts its integrity and he has also done this in several occasions overtime.
The Producers Council, headed by Kalaipuli S. Thanu had organized a meeting in which it was discussed with fellow members of the Council and asked for an explanation letter. But the reply, which was received as a response wasn't satisfactory to the board members and hence, according to the Council regulations 14D, as the owner of Vishal Film Factory, Vishal's membership has been removed thereby revoking him off the basic member rights.
This has come as a shocker to the members of the film fraternity and fans alike.
