During the media interaction at the film's teaser launch event, the acclaimed director stated his Azhagarsaamiyin Kuthirai got him a National Award and is confident he will repeat the same amount of success with Maaveeran Kittu. He said the film will no doubt be recognized by the National Film Awards jury.
The film features Suseenthiran's frequent collaborator these days, Vishnu Vishal along with Sri Divya as the female lead, R. Parthiepan in an important role and Soori.
Parthiban opened up on his role in the film and stated with conviction that the upcoming period drama film will be an important one in his career and he would receive more awards for his portrayal in the film after his Housefull.
Maaveeran Kittu being produced by Suseenthiran is reportedly eyeing a November release date.
