Director Gautham Menon has teamed up with National award winning actor Dhanush for the first time for 'Enai Noki Paayum Thota. The film touted to be a romantic action thriller stars Megha Akash as the female lead while Rana Daggupati has been roped in to play an important character.
The film went on floors in a private Engineering college in the outskirts of Chennai in March 2016. By the end of July,it is reported that 70% of the film's shoot has been completed and the remaining portions will be shot in Chennai and Mumbai in the month of August.
Gautham has revealed that 'ENPT' will be in an entirely different frame when compared to the films he has directed so far. The first half will be full of romance while the second will have more of power packed action sequences.
Megha apparently plays a film star in the film and Dhanush her lover. The hero saves the girl from a problem, both of them gets entangled into a bigger mess and the rest deals with how they come out of that. This is the story line of the film doing rounds in media circles.
The music director of the film is yet to be confirmed while Yuvan Shankar Raja seems to be the top contender for the job. If this happens, it will be a magical combination as Yuvan has never teamed up with Gautham before. Jomon.T.John and Antony are taking care of Cinematography and Editing of this film.
The film is being produced by P.Madhan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures banner.
