Director K. S. Ravikumar's latest Mudinja Ivana Pudi released yesterday jumps right to the point at the beginning of the film.

Hero Sudeep steals unaccounted money of rich businessmen and keeps it in a secret place. One day, he loots black money from Mukesh Tiwari's house. Since the money is not accounted, Tiwari is unable to report to the police. However, he decides to find out who stole the money with the help of a police official known to him. In that search, the police officer comes across a CD in which a scene is recorded showing Sudeep and his friends sharing the looted amount. Upon watching the footage, a prisoner confirms that Sudeep is a clean person who is into the real estate business.

Following this, the police bring Sudeep under their custody and during interrogation confesses that he is innocent and the culprit is his elder brother. Confused by this statement, the police let him go free.

Soon after the trial, another theft is reported this time at Sarath Lohitashwa's house, but when given a complaint the police do not act on this. Angered by this attitude, Mukesh and Sarath decide to recover their money by their own efforts. Are they able to get back the money and find out who their real thief behind this burglary form the crux of the film.

Sudeep is the backbone of the film in his dual roles - that of a robber and a docile businessman. The acclaimed actor shows the difference in his characters efficiently and excelling in areas like action, romance and drama.

Nithya Menen looks gorgeous and plays her role to her best efforts. Nassar and Praksh Raj impress viewers with their experienced acting skills with timing comedy of Sathish. Mukesh Tiwari and Sarath Lohitashwa terrorize the audience with their villainous acts. Sai Ravi, who comes as a corrupt police officer has done a great job in picturing his character with a comical touch.

Director K. S. Ravikumar has delivered this commercial entertainer with a mixture of enough action and sentiment. Although the film bears a resemblance to his film Villain featuring Ajith in terms of plot, the director can be appreciated for his output.

Songs by D. Imman should have been better as they fail to satisfy. However, where Imman fails, he succeeds in the background score department. Rajarathinam's cinematography is sheer magic when it comes to the fight and song sequences.

Over all, Mudinja Ivana Pudi is a one-time worthwhile watch.
