Enakku Veru Engum Kilaigal Kidaiyathu is a comeback film of the comedy king Goundamani with Soundararaja and Riythvika doing the lead roles. Debutante Ganapathy Balamurugan has helmed the cast and crew.

Goundamani who lives in Chennai, rents luxury caravans to the cinema artists. Along with it, he also helps in the marriages of many lovers who happen to face problems from their families. In this situation, Goundamani and his staffs which includes Velmurugan go for a jolly trip in a caravan.

Meanwhile, social activist Soundararaja and Riythvika, the daughter of a political person in Madurai falls for each other but, when there rises an opposition, they both elope their home town and take a refuge in Chennai. A friend of these lovers arranges for their marriage.

Riythvika's father appoints a rowdy gang to recover his daughter. Finding the eloped lovers in Chennai, the rowdies start their chase. Goundamani, who happens to see this incident, saves Soundararaja and Riythivika from the gang and brings them to Madurai with the promise of conducting their wedding.

What happens after that and the happy ending are narrated in the second half of the movie. As expected with the movie's trailer, Goundamani has dominated the film with his satirical one liners. The veteran actor invariably trolls the top persons from all walks of life. He touches even the false believes that are prevailing in the caste system. Though the actor is running 77, he has proved that his counter dialogues are still able to capture the audience.

Actor Soundararaja, who has so far performed in minor roles, has been promoted to a lead character in this film. His performance looks great while showing his anger but he has to improve his acting talents in romance and sentiment sequences.

Sana, who portrays the wife's role of Goundamani, fills up her portions neatly and is able to express the fear feelings about the safety of her husband in an impressive manner. The other artists also get the appreciation for their perfect portrayal of their given characters.

Director Ganapathy Balamurugan mainly depends on the counter punches of the actor but the over dosage of this display create a feeling of uneasiness among the viewers. The romance sequences of Soundaraja and Riythvika play a spoilsport in the movie's momentum.

Kannan's camera and Arunagiri's music composition fail to bag any special credit for their works.

Summing up, Enakku Veru Engum Kilaigal Kidaiyathu can be seen once.
