It had been reported by many over the past few days that Kajal Aggarwal was taken aback by Randeep Hooda who pulled her in for the kiss.
Kajal has now thrashed the reports stating that she was well are of the kissing scene in the film. In an interview, the actress stated, "The lip-lock was always there in the script. While I had my reservations and was hesitant from the time I read the script, I realized my character and the story demanded it."
She further clarified that the kissing scene was essential to the film's narrative and stated, "The ultimate way to express love is through physical intimacy. And for a girl who is visually impaired, it gets even more difficult to convey her love. She has never seen the man; she only knows him through touch and feel. So, I guess it was important for Jenny (Kajal Aggarwal's character) to do it and the kiss completely made sense. It was never sudden or in the moment."
Do Lafzon Ki Kahani is being directed by Deepak Tijori and is scheduled for a June 10 release.
