‘Yatchan’ starring Arya, Kreshna, Swathy and Deepa Sannidhi in lead roles has been helmed by noted filmmaker Vishnuvardhan.
The film’s plot depicts the life of two youngsters (Arya and Kreshna) who come to Chennai with different motives and plans.
Arya, is an ardent fan of Ajith in the film and he gets into trouble after killing a person unexpectedly. Since the victim is a gangster, his friends chase Arya to kill him. Arya manages to escape from them and reaches Chennai from Tuticorin.
On the other hand, Kreshna, who lives in Pazhani reaches Chennai with the help of his girlfriend Swathy. He aims to become a star in tinsel town and keeps looking for opportunities.
Arya is in need of a ransom amount to go abroad and he looks for a chance to make money. He then accepts to kill Deepa Sannidhi for a huge amount of money. Meanwhile, Kreshna gets a chance to star as Ajith’s brother in a film and he prepares himself to make the best out of the opportunity.
In a drastic twist, both the heroes happen to cross each other’s path and the consequences of the unexpected twists have been narrated in the rest of the screenplay.
Arya impresses audience with his screen presence and the star’s action sequences are mind blowing. The handsome star makes the best use of his role and has emerged as a good performer. Deepa Sannidhi has done justice to her role and the pretty actress shines with her subtle acting.
Kreshna steals the show with his realistic acting skills and his romance track with Swathy is interesting and enjoyable. Swathy awes the audience with her cute expressions and bubbly character.
Other stars like Thambi Ramaiah, Robo Shankar, Sentrayan, RJ Balaji, Ponvannan have exceled in their roles and SJ Suriyah’s cameo is surprising.
Om Prakash’s cinematography and Yuvan Shankar Raja’s composition are excellent.
Director Vishnuvardhan has come up with an exciting and gripping movie with many interesting twists. He has made sure that the film comprises of all aspects required for a commercial success and he has focused more on adhering to the engaging story line.
On the whole, ‘Yatchan’ is a fun-filled movie with a fast paced storyline and some good music.
