After winning accolades for his acting venture in Darling, music composer G V Prakash is back with his next Trisha Illaena Nayanthara. First thing first, it is an adult film in the lines of Boys and Delhi Belly.
Loaded with double meaning dialogues and situations that evoke instant laughter among young audience, TIN is strictly for adult audience. The movie directed by Adhik Ravichandran seems to have taken the view side of male audience and packed it with punch in TIN. No wonder why it has been given A certificate. Interestingly, the movie crux seems to be a youngster's crave to fall for a girl, which GV Prakash does well.
Kayal Anandhi, Manisha Yadv and VTV Ganesh play key roles. But watch out for Simran in a sizeable role while the likes of Arya and Priya Anand appearing in climax.
TIN is all about the fun that boys have. Their feelings, emotions and expectations are expressed in an 'adult' way. What strikes the most are crass dialogues which are very bold at times. More of a S J Suryah movie, the movie has some laughable moments in first half but misses out in the latter part.
G V Prakash, Manisha Yadav and Kayal are born on a same day in a same hospital. As it happens, G V has soft corner for Kayal Anandhi.
They love each other until he tells his friend about his sexual escapades of the past. This news reaches Kayal and she walks off from his life. As it happens, he meets Manisha and its love between them.But her style of living irks GV. She is a freak out who boozes and go for parties. There ends the romance.
Now he goes all the way to Kumbakonam where his uncle VTV Ganesh lives. Call it a turn of events for it is where Kayal stays. Now the rest is whether the two met and fell in love again.
G V Prakash plays his part well but his body language and dialogue delivery needs a lot to be desired. Manisha Yadav oozes glamour, while Kayal Ananbdhi does deliver her best. VTV Ganesh steals the show with his one-liners and Simran is passable. Richard M Nathan's camera work is good and captures romantic scenes well. Prakash's music is apt for the theme.
On the whole, the movie is a reflection of contemporary youth audience and strictly not for family audience. A mix of S J Surya and Bhagiyaraj elements, TIN may find favor with youth audience.
