‘Thani Oruvan’ revolves around the concept of good versus evil.

The action-thriller’s hero, Jayam Ravi is in a training session of the Indian Police Academy. He aims to eradicate all the criminal offenses that are increasing day by day.

Jayam Ravi is accompanied by Ganesh Venkatram, Vamsi Krishnan and Harish Uthaman. All the men strive hard to grab the criminals and find out that they are being supported by big shots.

Meanwhile, Nayantara who also gets trained along with Jayam Ravi falls in love with him. But, Ravi is more focused in his ambition and stays away from her.

At one instance, Jayam Ravi happens to meet Arvind Sami and the swift race between good and evil starts. Jayam Ravi also comes to know that Arvind Sami is supportive to all the crimes and the rest of the movie narrates the aftermath.

Hero Jayam Ravi shines in his I.P.S officer character as Mithran. He has excelled in his performance when compared to his previous movies. Nayantara has played an important part and is being appreciated for her perfect acting. The other actors Nassar, Thambi Ramaiah and Ganesh Venkatram have done their portions well.
